Random, Random Notes from the Sandwich Life
1. I have a cloud of free floating anxiety following me everywhere this week. I'm not even sure why. The house concert? Work? My children? Politics? The world? Oh, and by the by, we do still have four spaces left for Saturday's show. Message me if you are interested....
2. Owen is very proud that he actually cleaned out the garage enough that.....wait for it.....the Honda FITS IN! Look at that boy. Just look at that boy. Ernie and I sat and watched some old videos of the boys last night and almost cried with laughter. This, and this, and this!
3. Ernie informed me last night that he hums when he gets nervous. He seemed to think I should know this after umpteen million years together. This was his defense when I got irritated that he was HUMMING while I was reprimanding a child about schoolwork. HUMMING.
4. As much as I'm still not as crazy about Hello Fresh as Blue Apron, our dinner last night was excellent. Chicken in a rosemary marinade with a warm green bean/roasted tomato salad. Nice.
5. Eggs from the Meat Lab.
6. Teri told me about Cataract Falls in Indiana so we stopped there when driving from Columbus to Bloomington and WOW! Absolutely stunning. Thanks for the tip Teri....
7. We picked up a Hopscotch cake at Art Mart last Friday and good GOD it was delicious. It wasn't cheap but you get what you pay for....and it also served about a billion people. It was also nice to see that Rick Orr had some flowers available at Art Mart.
Happy birthday once more to our beloved Heather Munson and Richard Hill!
8. And lastly, from our trip to Bloomington, IN....
