Voting with Frank

Despite my dismay at the state of politics in this country, I still get excited about going to vote. We go to the Spine Clinic tomorrow morning for a consult on Ernie's back. Frankly, I'm not particularly hopeful but we shall see. Then I need to squeeze in time to vote before going to work. For some reason I hate voting AFTER work....I always feel that it's better to vote in the morning! I remember that when my grandfather was living with my parents, my Dad would come home from his law office during the day to pick up my grandpa and bring him to vote. Every time my grandfather was dressed in a suit and tie because that's what you did when you went to vote.

I love that.

I'm not sure my grandfather would have agreed with my vote, but I'll think of him anyway.
