Random Pictures from the Sandwich Life

Dinner at Shozo and Alice Sato's last night. I  think I had the best fried food I have ever had in my life. Amazing sole and shrimp....with cabbage and rice with mushrooms. And yes I took a picture of it. I can't begin to tell you how light and crisp with no sense of oil....masterful, really masterful.

And on a related note....diaginjo sake, a gift from our beloved neighbor Greg. This stuff is mindboggling good.

We go see the oral surgeon in a bit. Then off to work and try to get my head back in place and have some energy. I'm sad not to be able to be in Nashville tonight for the Dead Reckoners show for Savannah Welch, but kindness from some folks has made me feel loved, and that does a lot. 

And I've got a hell of a weekend coming up.....don't forget.....Mabel's Night Unplugged (featuring folks like Kenny Draznik, Nick Rudd, Lynn Canfield, Jay Rosenstein, Ed Burch, David Adams, etc.) on Friday, and then on Saturday our beloved Kristi Rose and Fats Kaplin Christmas show. Life is good. Sometimes I need a reminder of that and thanks to those that give them to me.
