Acorn Squash Weather

I freaked out a bit when Leo had to register for the draft, but I was very proud when he happily registered to vote yesterday. I was pleased that he was excited to do it…and thankful we’ll have another intelligent voter out there….

It’s nice to have the cooler weather, although I know it’s supposed to get warm again tomorrow. Last night it was cool and grey though which makes me much happier to cook. I made curried oven fried chicken, roast some acorn squash and sautéed spinach. I gotta say, it was all good, but the squash won the plate. It was a pretty white acorn squash that I got for 50 cents at Negangard Pumpkins.

Onward to the weekend.
