Black-Volk Festival: July 23, 2022

Monday felt like Friday but then again Thursday felt like Friday. Friday felt oddly like a Monday and yet today feels like a Saturday. More phone calls with insurance and oncology yesterday. We've been told we'll have an answer to the appeal by Monday afternoon.

Last night as I lay in bed musing, mixed in with my anxiety was a dash of, dare I say it...anticipation. It was such an odd feeling because I haven't felt it in quite some time. However, the Black-Volk Festival, which Teri McCarthy and friends are holding for us has officially been announced!

I had a much longer post started but that will have to wait. I can't believe these incredible Sandwich Life alums are going to be there! Tickets (and donations if you like, there or GoFundMe) are at Eventbrite. More soon!
