Random Notes from the Sandwich Life: June 18, 2023

I've got a short wander to report on (see above for a sneak peek) but must clean out some odds and ends first. Here we go.

This rice dish is one of the best things I have cooked in ages and Ernie even agreed as well. I just sent our the recipe out to the handful of folks who have signed up for my monthly membership: Enjoy Every Sandwich for $5 a month, or The Club Sandwich if you're feeling reckless, for $10 a month.

LOOK! My sweet peas, Owen and Trinity got to see my beloved Aaron Lee Tasjan in Chicago this week, as well as two of the Starks sweet peas. I'm so happy for them. 🧡

For some reason, I want spinach/arugula mix on everything. These stems sticking out of my sandwich amused me for some reason.

Happy Father's Day to my beloved. I had a truly wonderful father but this guy? Can't imagine anybody better. Thanks to a conversation with Heather last week I was reminded of Ernie's love of jigsaw puzzles. Thanks, Heather!
