John Hiatt and Mourning

It's funny what hits you at certain times.  Judi loved John Hiatt.  When she first found out that her cancer had returned she thought about what she wanted to do before the end and she decided she wanted to see John Hiatt.  She looked up his touring schedule and found he was going to be in South Carolina, along with Lyle Lovett--another favorite, in just a few weeks.  She bought tickets and even splurged (Judi was very frugal unlike her other two sisters) on the better seats.  I emailed Hiatt's management to see if I could arrange for her to meet him.  I never got a response but it didn't matter because by the time the concert came around she was too sick to go and gave the tickets to a friend.

In the last week or two Ernie has been playing some old John Hiatt and now it's all mixed up with Judi and sadness.  Sounds good though.
