Things I Want To Tell My Mother

1.  About the lovely sympathy card I got from Carol Clark.....a neighbor from my childhood and someone Mom liked so much.

2.  How great Owen is doing at the antique show with Ernie.  He just called me a little while ago and said, "uh Mom, I'm where nobody can hear me....how much are we supposed to charge for the blue and white syrup pitcher?  I said around $200 so he paused and said, "so, two hundred bucks?"  I said, "Yeah, around there" and he replied very seriously, "so about two hundred and ten bucks?  Is that o.k., two hundred and ten bucks?"  I said it was fine and he said, "o.k, gotta go...bye Mom.  I love you."

3.  What a nice time Leo and I are having on our own and how happy he was having his friend overnight and the way he's scheduled and planned the whole weekend and is so patient with all my kisses and hugs.

4.  How great it was she switched her Medicare Part B to Health Alliance before the last few months.  Thus far I've paid out a grand total of $8.40.  She would be amazed at how much better the coverage is than what she had before.  Of course then she'd fuss over how much she'd spent in the past so maybe it's just as well.

5.  That the crocuses in her yard are blooming and the daffodils are up.

6.  That Debbie's going to take the card table, and I'm taking the black blanket chest and all the other things we decided.

7.  What I'm cooking tonight.

8.  How much I love her.
