Random Notes from the Sandwich Life

1.  Well, my poor husband has an all-out full-force summer cold, complete with chills and sweats and aches.  I woke up this morning with a scratchy throat, feeling achy.  I'm drinking tea and trying to will it away but my colleague keeps assuring me, "oh no...you're going down....I just know it."  Thanks Nancy.

2.  When I got home last night the boys assured me that they had noticed that I wasn't around and had indeed missed me.

3.  Saw my first Japanese beetle.  Damn.
