No Electricity in Our Bedroom

We have no electricity in our bedroom.

And no, that's not an analogy...we REALLY have no electricity in our bedroom.  No lights, no clocks, no phone.

Hmmm.  this is not good.

This morning the little clocks were glowing and I assume the lamps would have happily turned on.  Now?  Not so much.

Our house, which I lovingly refer to as 'slightly ramshackle' has an interesting way with power.  Of course, most famously there's the light over the sink in the first floor bathroom which is turned off and on in the basement....and there's the fact that if you run the ceiling fan in Owen's bedroom it interferes with the radio in the kitchen.  And there's lamp in the living room you have to turn off for the kitchen radio too.  And there's something about the tv or playstation or something that goes black when you do something...but I couldn't really understand what the guys were explaining to me.

So...suffice to say....I've never want to have to call an electrician because I'm afraid of what they might find....

This could be interesting.

Now I think I'll go ahead and title this post "No Electricity in the Bedroom" and see how many hits I get.
