It's HERE! and other Random Notes

1.  My feeling better, that is.  Yesterday I was pretty tired after work but I felt alive----it was a breakthrough!!!!  Ernie even took me out for a drink while the boys swam and then we ordered Chinese food after which I happily tumbled into bed.  And now it's FRIDAY!

2.  Over the course of vacation the boys decided they wanted to get bunk beds back home and share a room.  You could have knocked me over with a feather.  They were extraordinarily excited about it.  However negotiations seem to be breaking down....over the paint color.  Owen wants the beautiful blue he has in his current room and Leo wants black (as opposed to the Cocoa Krispy color we painted it for Judi).  I pointed out that we had never said we were repainting but still, things seem to be at a standstill.  We'll see....  Leo is supposed to have the lower bunk so Owen suggested just painting it black around where that is and getting a little curtain....so Leo could be totally shut away I guess.....I'm not quite sure about that one....

3.  We have NO plans for the weekend except moving one gargantuan False Indigo out of the alley border because it's totally taken over.  Not sure what we're going to do with it....  And maybe experiment with some recipes for the David Olney/Sergio Webb house concert....  Oh, and replant my dead window box.
