Bleariness and Sunsets

I feel dull this week.  O.k. and happy......but dull.  Post holiday bleariness I would imagine.  Owen's birthday was good, we celebrated with a ham dinner as per his wishes.  Got the boys into bed a little earlier as it is school today.  Ernie and I watched Top Chef and tumbled into bed.  He fell asleep but I laid there and read, finally put my light out and then tossed and turned.  Kept switching pillows so I'd have a cool side.  Why does the cool side of the pillow feels so good even when you're not too warm?  Tossed and turned some more, completele with restless legs....finally fell asleep only to be woken by Annie the cat.  I imagine that in a previous life Annie was a champion log roller.  As much as I twist and turn she stays glued to me.  It's really quite amazing.

Anyway....between Bob at the foot of the beg, Hattie under the sheets and Annie on top of me....I might as well invited the birthday boy in to sleep with me.

It's sunny though....my bleary dullness should fade.....and the sunset was so spectacular last night that I'm excited about it tonight---even though I know it won't be able to match itself.  Even with a better camera than our iPhones I know we couldn't have captured it....just glorious!
