Wandering on Labor Day

No Labor Day parade for us. Sniff, sniff. The boys were totally uninterested. Owen was hanging out with a friend and Leo was still getting over a cold and happy with his computer so Ernie and I took off on our own and wandered a bit. Got kind of trapped in the midst of the Westville Labor Day parade traffic which was entertaining. We took a few pictures, bought some watermelon and corn from a melon stand that smelled heavenly, and headed home. That was it for our excitement but it made for a lovely day just the same. Wonderful smoked pork, grilled okra and corn for dinner. Sometimes simple really is the best!
