The Motor City Rockers Shall Get Me Through....

Just earlier this morning:

Me: Have you brushed your hair?

Leo (from the next room and in a deadpan voice): Yes. Why do you care?

Me: Why do I CARE? Well, I CARE because.....

and it went on from there as you can imagine.

Good God.

And the teen years are just beginning.

Last night Owen also drove me crazy so as Ernie and I were throwing together dinner we also played videos on youtube (sometimes I really like having our computer in the kitchen) and I found a video with my beloved Jimmy Marinos. Shoulda been a fucking star, that boy. One of the best shows I've ever seen was the Motor City Rockers at Biddy Mulligans with a skimpy crowd. Incredible show. Biddy Mulligans was never my favorite place but saw some shows there over the years, and two of my all time favorite shows in fact....the aforementioned Motor City Rockers and Jo-El Sonnier. Couldn't understand a word Jo-El said in that Cajun accent but an amazing, amazing show.
