Proceeding As It Should

Well piffle. Owen is home sick. He came home from school mid-morning yesterday...with a low fever and an upset stomach. The people at the school said something's going around; a lot of kids are out. But damn...he was just out for most of the week before break....then Leo was sick OVER break....God help us---I hope the rest of us don't get it! Selfishly I mostly hope I-I-I-I-I-I don't get it!

I've got no anecdotes to share....homemade pizza tonight if Owen is up to it, tomorrow Leo goes on a field trip to the Holocaust Museum in St. Louis, Thursday night we have our friend Susan (and gardener extraordinaire) over for dinner....Friday, regular morning of work and lunch with my husband, Saturday I have a work event in the afternoon, Sunday I have a work event in the afternoon....and then it's Monday again. However things are getting green at long last, the tiny crocuses in our front yard are blooming, and I'm becoming obsessed with garden paths and moving plants....so I guess things are proceeding as they should.
