Kittens and Herbs

We had a glorious dinner with friends last night so we woke up feeling good. We headed out to buy a few more vegetable plants as we've had some lousy germination rates this year. I gotta say Country Arbors has gorgeous stuff for great prices. Every time we buy things there we're surprised at how little we've spent compared to other places...and the plants are bigger and healthier.....and the greenhouses just SMELL so damn good. We bought more herbs than I meant to because...well....they were just sitting there looking at me, all healthy and smelling good (the herbs, not me). Ernie rolled his eyes and got another tray to put them in. And when you walk past all the pepper plants the smell is intoxicating....so....what can you do?

We got home and I  peeled the boys off their respective entertainment sources and got them out to do some yard work. Leo was SO enthusiastic. And showed it by dressing appropriately too!

In Rascal news he has been with us a week and has gone from pathetic, dirty, hungry kitten to KITTEN! Yes, he's a kitten with a capital K as he positively hops around the house now. There has been some serious hissing between cats but so far we're good....
