Kristi Rose and Fats Save the Day

Can you imagine WANTING to talk about missing homework assignments to your teenagers, particularly this early in the school year? Well, I can't imagine that either, but evidently my children seem to think that I really WANT to do this. This puzzles me as both my boys are too damned smart for their own good. And yet they seem to think this. I tried to explain that the last thing I want so spend perfectly good three day weekend time on is bitching about homework, that this is not MY idea of fun either. They seen unconvinced.

Then I got to listen to Teen 1 bitch about how he's not good enough for AP classes, that it's just standardized testing bullshit. Yeah, but if you do that well on the tests then uhhhhhh....

Impressive yelling with the new deep voice though, I'll give him that. 

There IS good news though..... Kristi Rose and Fats Kaplin are coming for our holiday show. Thinking about that might just get me through....
