Christmas Trains

My back is better, although it still hurts. I had forgotten how constant pain wears on one. Not that this is the most horrible pain in the world, it certainly is not, but the even slightest pain that is constant can dig deep grooves in ones wellbeing. I feel as foggy as the weather outside.

The tree is not quite complete (we have a LOT of ornaments) but it was complete enough for Leo to set up his Lionel train around the base of the big tree last night. It made me so happy to just listen to it clackety-clacking along its tracks. My father would have been utterly delighted.

My parents were so excited when they gave the boys the Lionel train set for Christmas..

This is when they set it up at home the next day. I love this picture because you can tell that Leo is pontificating on some aspect of the train....
