Steady On

Trying to find a balance between being engaged and obsessively reading news stories. I want to say I'll take time off Facebook but I know myself. I'm so thankful we had a house concert on Friday and that we have Tom Mason this Friday. Music and friends keep me steady.

Yesterday I avoided the news as much as possible and buried myself in my Ian Hunter box set. I hadn't really dug into it yet....I wanted to wait for the right moment and just kind of savor having that ahead of me.

Oh man. It's incredible. I read the essay in the book and we watched the first DVD. Ernie was quite patient with with my squeals and sighs. I feel more myself.
