Nice, nice weekend.... We started off with the 40 North 88 West awards on Friday evening. Lovely evening...Rebecca Rego and the Trainmen, got to sit and chat with Jan and Pam, and see the folks I'd voted for win awards...delightful..

Saturday was a lazier than it was supposed to be day....I ended up sitting in the yard reading and enjoying the beautiful day. Oh, TOMORROW we'll work in the yard, I said.... ha.

I managed to make a disaster of a meal (I think I can salvage it but I used WAY too much curry paste) so we ordered in food....pizza and Indian.... Sunday I said we were getting out of the house so we rounded up the troops and Leo, yes, Leo!, drove all the way to Allerton. He did have to put up with three people talking at him and giving him advice. Finally he said in his deep, stern voice, "O.k., I NEED it a little quieter in here." We tried to be quieter. We hadn't been to Allerton (formerly known as the Park with No Toys) in ages....it was utterly lovely....
